our long-term vision

The long-term vision for Soul Gestures Inc. is to create an organisation that reduces marginalisation and isolation in local communities throughout Australia.

Not only will we recognise Soul Gestures that are happening in local communities, but we will be developing innovative and active programs such as our kits aimed at getting young people in every high school more actively involved, and excited about participating in their local communities. We want people, right from childhood to feel that they have both a right to be a part of a community and also a responsibility as well.

We are also aiming to quarantine an amount of money from every membership that will be available to actually generate small soul gestures where they are most needed in the local community. It may be something as small as a bunch of flowers for an elderly woman who has no family or a new blanket for a family who has lost everything in a fire-it is the simple gesture that says that the local community does care.

Soul Gestures WILL generate humanity within local communities-simply.
